Summary
This study is testing if educational videos sent by text, with or without extra support from a community health worker, can help Chinese immigrants in New York City better manage their Type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if these approaches improve blood sugar control more than usual care alone. Researchers will measure participants' blood sugar levels and their confidence in managing their diabetes over time.
