Summary
This study aimed to understand how a person's mind might help control knee osteoarthritis pain. Researchers used brain scans (fMRI) to see how watching videos about acupuncture, compared to real or fake acupuncture, changed brain activity in 125 patients. The goal was to learn more about how mental focus and body treatments work together to potentially ease symptoms.
