First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests a smart shoe called NUSHU that provides gentle vibrations to see if it can help people with Parkinson's disease walk faster. Sixteen participants will complete two short walking tests—one with the vibration and one without—to compare speed, stride, and safety. It is an early-stage, low-risk study to gather first evidence for future research.
