NCT ID NCT07730073
First seen Jul 28, 2026 · Last updated Jul 29, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
Parkinson's disease often leads to soft, unclear speech that affects daily life. This trial tests whether the Lee Silverman Voice Therapy-LOUD (LSVT-LOUD) protocol, an intensive speech therapy program, can improve vocal loudness and speech clarity in Turkish-speaking individuals with Parkinson's. Over four weeks, participants will attend 16 one-on-one therapy sessions, and researchers will measure changes in voice quality and how participants feel about the therapy.
