Gentle vibration tested to fight cancer Drug's aches and fatigue

NCT ID NCT03712813

Summary

This study tested whether a gentle, low-intensity vibration platform could help reduce muscle and joint pain, fatigue, and weakness caused by a common breast cancer medication (aromatase inhibitors). For 12 months, 72 early-stage breast cancer survivors either used the vibration platform for 10 minutes twice daily or were placed on a waitlist. Researchers measured changes in muscle strength, body composition, bone density, and participants' reports of pain and fatigue.
