Shaking up recovery: can vibration therapy boost healing after knee surgery?
NCT ID NCT06988033
Summary
This study is testing whether adding whole-body vibration therapy to standard rehab helps women with low bone density recover better after knee replacement surgery. Researchers will compare vibration alone, vibration with exercise, and standard rehab to see which best improves strength, function, pain, and bone health markers. The goal is to find a safe, effective way to support healing and prevent complications like bone loss around the new joint.
