Scientists probe brain & mood links to Veterans' chronic pain

Summary
This study aims to understand how a person's mood, brain inflammation, and body inflammation are connected to pain in veterans with fibromyalgia. Researchers will enroll 60 veterans, some with fibromyalgia and some without, to undergo brain scans, blood tests, and pain assessments. The goal is to gather information to help design a better, veteran-informed exercise program for managing fibromyalgia pain.
