New program aims to help veterans successfully return from prison

Summary
This study is creating a support program and assessment tools to help veterans with mental health or substance use issues transition from prison back to community life. Researchers will first interview recently released veterans about their experiences, then develop materials based on their needs. Finally, they'll test the program with a small group to see if it improves symptoms, quality of life, and thinking patterns.
