Summary
This study tested a phone-based coaching program designed to help veterans with type 2 diabetes. The goal was to reduce the emotional burden and stress of managing the disease daily. First, researchers asked some veterans to take photos to help explain their challenges. Then, a small group received personalized coaching calls to provide support and connect them with helpful services.
