NCT ID NCT04127604
Summary
This study tested a new support program designed for veterans who have both bipolar disorder and a substance use disorder and are leaving a psychiatric hospital. The goal was to see if this specialized program could help them stick to their medication and treatment plans better than standard follow-up care. Veterans in the study received either the new program or an enhanced monitoring program, in addition to their usual VA care.
