Summary
This study tests a combined cochlear and vestibular implant in 13 people who have lost their sense of balance due to bilateral vestibulopathy. The implant aims to improve stability and clear vision during movement. Participants use the device for 3 weeks in the hospital and then 15 months at home to see if it safely and effectively restores balance function.
