New study tests ways to get patients off breathing machines faster
NCT ID NCT07353814
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to help patients in intensive care who are on breathing machines (ventilators) due to respiratory failure. It will compare two different training methods that use the ventilator itself to strengthen the patient's breathing muscles. The goal is to help patients breathe on their own sooner and more successfully, reducing their time on the machine.
