CPR breathing secrets: study aims to boost cardiac arrest survival
NCT ID NCT06809309
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study watches how breathing support (ventilation) is given during CPR for adults whose heart stops in the hospital. It aims to find which air volume and breathing rate work best to restart the heart. Researchers will compare different ventilation levels to see which leads to better survival and fewer complications. No new treatment is tested—only standard care is observed.
