New hope for adult leukemia patients in Early-Stage drug trial

NCT ID NCT05157971

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether adding a drug called venetoclax to a standard, intensive chemotherapy regimen is safe and tolerable for adults newly diagnosed with a type of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The goal is to find the best dose of venetoclax to use with the chemotherapy and see if the combination helps control the cancer. The study will enroll up to 24 adults aged 18-54 who have not yet received treatment for their leukemia.
