New drug cocktail aims to shrink head and neck tumors better than standard care
NCT ID NCT06727565
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding an experimental drug (domvanalimab) to a standard immunotherapy (zimberelimab) plus chemotherapy works better than the standard immunotherapy plus chemotherapy alone for people with head and neck cancer that has spread or come back. About 100 adults who have not had prior treatment for this stage of cancer will take part. The main goals are to see if the new combination shrinks tumors more often and helps keep cancer from growing longer.
