Summary
This study tests a drug called vedolizumab in Chinese adults with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis, a chronic bowel disease causing inflammation and symptoms like diarrhea and bleeding. About 402 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo to see if it reduces symptoms and leads to remission. The goal is to find a safe, effective treatment option for this population.
