Summary

This study compares two drugs, vasopressin and noradrenaline, used to maintain blood pressure after heart surgery. The goal is to see if vasopressin reduces the number of patients who develop acute kidney failure or die, compared to the standard drug noradrenaline. The trial includes 840 adults undergoing scheduled heart surgery with a heart-lung machine. Participants are followed for 90 days after surgery.
