New clip aims for firmer grip in robotic cancer operations
NCT ID NCT07413120
Summary
This study tested a new type of surgical clip designed to better seal blood vessels during robotic surgery for prostate, kidney, or bladder cancer. Forty patients were randomly assigned to receive either the new VasoClip or a standard clip during their operation. The main goal was to see if the new clip was more successful at staying securely in place until the end of the surgery.
