Summary
This study tests a mixed reality system called VascuLens 2.0 that projects 3D images of a patient's blood vessels onto their body during DIEP flap breast reconstruction surgery. The goal is to help surgeons make more accurate incisions, potentially reducing surgery time and complications. Sixty women undergoing this surgery after mastectomy will be randomly assigned to either standard planning or the VascuLens-guided approach.
