First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether taking two blood pressure medicines together (valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide) works better than taking just one (valsartan alone) in people with high blood pressure that has already affected their heart. A total of 118 adults aged 18 to 70 took part. The goal was to see which approach controls blood pressure more effectively and causes fewer side effects like headache, dizziness, or cough.
