First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested a new step-by-step method called SEARCH to better classify what happens to people after a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lungs). Researchers looked at 150 adults to see if different doctors using the same method would agree on the diagnosis and if the diagnosis stayed the same over six months. The goal is to improve how doctors identify and treat long-term problems after a pulmonary embolism.
