First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at how stimulating the vagus nerve at different frequencies changes heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing in healthy adults aged 18-30. Each person will try five different stimulation settings (including a sham/placebo) in random order. The goal is to find which frequency has the strongest effect on the body's automatic systems.
