Summary
This study is testing whether a mild electrical stimulation to a nerve in the neck, called vagus nerve stimulation, can help people quit smoking when used alongside nicotine patches. It will involve 150 adult smokers who want to quit. The main goal is to see if this combination leads to more people successfully stopping smoking for 12 weeks.
