First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests if a gentle, non-invasive stimulation on the ear can help adults with moderate to severe burns recover faster. Researchers will measure inflammation and physical function in 50 participants who receive either standard physiotherapy or physiotherapy plus the ear stimulation. The goal is to see if this simple technique can reduce harmful inflammation and improve independence after a burn injury.
