Summary

This study looked at whether stimulating a nerve in the ear (vagus nerve) and doing controlled breathing exercises can improve physical performance and heart rate control. Sixty-four moderately active men participated. The goal was to see how these techniques affect the body's automatic nervous system, not to treat any disease.
