First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study aims to learn more about the vagus nerve in people with epilepsy. Researchers will use a thin needle to record nerve signals while participants are awake, both with and without a vagus nerve stimulator device. The goal is to understand which nerve fibers are activated during stimulation, which could help improve future treatments for epilepsy and other conditions.
