Could a simple cream ease the pain after a traumatic birth?

NCT ID NCT05317364

Summary

This study tested whether applying a vaginal estrogen cream could help women recover from severe tears that sometimes happen during childbirth. Researchers wanted to see if the cream could improve sexual function and reduce problems with bladder and bowel control. The trial was small and ended early, so more research is needed to know if this treatment is effective.
