Summary

This small pilot study tested a non-invasive device that gently stimulates the vagus nerve through the skin. Ten women with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) used the device daily for six months. The goal was to see if it could improve digestive symptoms, reduce inflammation, and enhance quality of life. The study also checked for side effects and how well participants tolerated the stimulation.
