Summary

This study tests whether adding a pill called vactosertib to standard chemoradiotherapy can improve outcomes for people with esophageal cancer. Participants take vactosertib for two weeks before and after standard treatment, then undergo surgery. The goal is to see if the drug helps shrink tumors and leads to better surgical results.
