Summary
This study aims to understand how radiation treatment for esophageal cancer affects patients' ability to respond to pneumonia vaccines. Researchers will compare vaccine responses in 80 cancer patients and healthy individuals to see if radiation weakens immune protection. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help improve vaccine timing and effectiveness for cancer patients.
