Scientists hunt for blood clues to stop recurring UTIs

NCT ID NCT03819712

Summary

This study aims to discover signs in the blood that might predict which young women are likely to get repeated bladder infections. Researchers are comparing blood samples from healthy women who have had many infections to those who have had very few. The goal is to understand differences in their immune system responses, not to test a new treatment.
