New study aims to make fibroid surgery safer by reducing blood loss

Summary
This study tests different methods of temporarily blocking the uterine arteries during laparoscopic fibroid removal to see which reduces blood loss the most. About 60 women with uterine fibroids who need surgery will take part. The goal is to find a technique that minimizes bleeding and protects future fertility.
