Bag it up: novel device may stop fibroid cells from spreading during surgery

Summary
This study tests a new surgical bag that fully encloses uterine fibroids during laparoscopic removal. The goal is to prevent any fibroid tissue from leaking or spreading inside the body, which can cause complications. About 20 women aged 28-46 with fibroids will undergo this procedure to see if the bag stays intact and improves safety.
