New hope for cancer patients suffering devastating treatment side effects

NCT ID NCT06807593

Summary

This study is testing whether ustekinumab can help control severe diarrhea and colon inflammation that sometimes occurs as a side effect of cancer immunotherapy drugs. Researchers will give ustekinumab to 10 cancer patients experiencing these complications to see if it reduces symptoms and inflammation markers. The goal is to find better ways to manage these difficult side effects so patients can continue their cancer treatments.
