NCT ID NCT07618169
First seen Jun 12, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 12, 2026
Summary
This study tested two ways to warm the eyelids for people with dry eyes caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). Fifteen adults used both a USB-powered warm compress and a self-heating disposable eye mask for two weeks each. Both treatments improved tear stability and comfort, but the USB-powered device worked slightly better for gland function and patient satisfaction. No serious side effects occurred.
