First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at how well a treatment called ultrasound-assisted catheter-directed thrombolysis works for people with serious blood clots in the lungs (intermediate-high-risk pulmonary embolism). Researchers will track 180 participants for 6 months to see how many develop high blood pressure in the lungs. The goal is to better understand the procedure's long-term effects on heart and lung function.
