Stroke drug dosing study aims to improve safety and outcomes

Summary

This study is testing different doses of a clot-busting drug called urokinase in 24 people who have had an acute ischemic stroke. The goal is to find the highest safe dose that works best, based on each person's weight. Participants must be treated within 6 hours of their first symptoms. The study will monitor for any serious bleeding to ensure safety.
