NCT ID NCT07016776

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will enroll 250 men aged 40 and older who have lower urinary tract symptoms. Researchers will compare different urine flow patterns (measured by a simple test) with symptom scores from a standard questionnaire. The goal is to see if certain flow patterns are linked to specific types of symptoms, which could help doctors choose the best treatment.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this study could help doctors better understand which urine flow patterns are linked to specific symptoms, potentially leading to more personalized treatment for men with urinary problems.

What could go wrong

This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It will not test any new therapy, and the findings may not change current practice. Results are based on questionnaires and flow tests, which can vary.
