Simple urine test could personalize cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT06904677

Summary

This study aims to see if proteins in urine can predict how well patients with locally advanced colorectal cancer will respond to pre-surgery (neoadjuvant) therapy. Researchers will collect urine samples from 400 patients before and after treatment, using advanced protein analysis and computer learning to identify markers linked to treatment success. The goal is to help doctors better personalize treatment plans by predicting which patients will benefit most from specific therapies.
