Could a simple urine test spot prostate cancer?

NCT ID NCT06347809

Summary

This study aimed to see if a new test could detect prostate cancer by looking for specific DNA markers in a person's urine. Researchers enrolled 24 men, some with confirmed prostate cancer and some scheduled for a biopsy, to collect urine samples. The goal was to check how accurate this non-invasive method could be compared to standard diagnostic procedures.
