Home visits for Moms-to-Be: a new way to reduce stress?
NCT ID NCT06133829
First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a brief home visitation program for pregnant and new mothers can help them connect with community resources, feel more confident about their health, and lower their stress. Half of the 450 participants will receive free home visits from a non-nurse visitor who provides tools and resources, while the other half gets standard clinic care. Researchers will compare outcomes like resource access, health self-belief, and stress levels between the two groups.
