First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at how upper-body aerobic exercise affects exercise ability, muscle oxygen levels, and daily activity in adults with type 2 diabetes. Forty participants completed the trial, which measured their oxygen use during treadmill tests and arm exercises. The goal was to understand if arm-focused training could help manage diabetes, but the study was designed to gather information rather than test a treatment.
