Summary

This study tests an online program called UPDOs Protective Styles to help Black women in the southeastern US learn about and start using PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. About 1000 women from 32 beauty salons will either use the program (videos, blogs, and telehealth) or receive standard HIV information. Researchers will track how many women start and continue PrEP over a year.
