Summary

This study aims to see how safe and effective an updated COVID-19 vaccine is for healthy adults between 50 and 64 years old. About 25,500 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new vaccine or a placebo (a shot with no active ingredient). Researchers will compare the two groups to see if the vaccine reduces the number of COVID-19 cases and monitor for any side effects.
