Summary

This study looks at why many older adults develop a slow, unsteady walk that raises their risk of falls and death. Researchers think this might be an early sign of a treatable brain condition called Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. They will follow 450 people over 6 years using brain scans and other tests to find better ways to diagnose and help those affected.
