One-Time procedure could revolutionize cervical cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07213427
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a single brachytherapy treatment (a type of internal radiation) given during one surgery works as well as the usual multiple treatments for advanced cervical cancer. Researchers will review medical records of about 400 women treated at six French hospitals. If successful, this simpler approach could reduce hospital visits, anesthesia use, and patient discomfort.
