NCT ID NCT06427421

First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at blood samples from 80 children (ages 2-17) recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and healthy children to understand why the immune system attacks the pancreas. Researchers will compare specific immune cells (regulatory and conventional T cells) between the two groups. The goal is to learn how the disease starts, which may help develop future cell-based treatments.
