Summary
This study used special MRI scans to look at how brain cells change after a stroke. Researchers scanned 24 stroke patients and 24 healthy volunteers to measure water and chemical movement in brain tissue. The goal was to learn more about what happens inside brain cells during stroke recovery, which could help design better treatments in the future.
