Summary

This study follows 60 adults undergoing thoracoabdominal aorta repair to understand why about half develop persistent pain around the incision. Researchers will use sensory tests, pain scores, and blood/spinal fluid analysis to identify risk factors. The goal is to find ways to predict and prevent chronic post-surgical pain.
