First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study aims to learn if hearing aid settings tailored to a person's listening strategy help them understand speech better than standard settings. About 30 adults with sensorineural hearing loss will wear hearing aids and listen to sentences in noise. They will repeat what they hear and rate how clear the speech sounds. The goal is to see if customization makes a real difference.
